Celebrating Leadership and Growth: KJA Attends Loyola’s Leadership Essentials Women’s Group Event

March 2026

KJA was honored to join Loyola University Maryland’s Leadership Essentials Women’s Group (LEWG) celebration, recognizing the 2025–26 cohort for their inspiring achievements. Hosted by ASPIRE: Loyola’s Center for Continuing Education, with support from the Howard County Economic Development Authority, this event underscored the incredible power of women leading, learning, and growing together.

The luncheon provided an opportunity to connect with visionary facilitators, past cohort members, and coaches who continue to shape the program’s transformative impact. One of the highlights was an engaging and energizing session — “Dancing with Discomfort” — led by Carey Borkoski, Loyola associate professor, coach, and facilitator, who challenged attendees to embrace vulnerability as a pathway to authentic leadership.

At KJA, we deeply believe that growth comes through connection, and that effective leadership thrives when women lean into collaboration rather than competition. Attending this celebration reminded us just how vital these spaces are — where women not only find their voices but also lift others as they rise.

Special thanks to partners Lori Galen Fuchs, ASPIRE, and HCEDA for their continued dedication to equipping emerging leaders with tools that strengthen communities and businesses alike.

It was truly inspiring to witness such a dynamic group of women committing to self-development and collective success. At KJA, we look forward to nurturing partnerships that share this same purpose — empowering women, fostering leadership, and creating lasting impact.
