World Trade Institute Annual Women’s Conference
June 2025
K. Jennings & Associates (KJA) was proud to attend the 2025 Women Spanning the Globe Conference, hosted by the World Trade Center Institute, on June 4th at the scenic Overhills Mansion. This event brought together more than 500 dynamic women leaders—emerging talent and C-suite executives alike—from around the world, offering KJA an invaluable opportunity to expand relationships and support the empowerment of Black women in business.
Celebrating Women’s Leadership and Connection
The theme for this year, "About Time," resonated deeply with KJA’s mission of purposeful leadership and intentional growth. From the energizing morning networking session to inspiring keynotes such as “Brave Your Fear” by Crista Samaras, the day celebrated the intersection of professional ambition and personal authenticity. KJA was energized by witnessing innovative leaders like Alicia Wilson and Candace Steele Flippin tackle topics ranging from bold leadership and resilience to mastering uncertainty and career advancement.
Building Meaningful Partnerships
Panels like “Lead Smarter – AI Strategies to Power Up Performance” highlighted how women are leveraging technology to create human-centered leadership—an approach mirrored in KJA’s own consulting philosophy. Connecting with facilitators, panelists, and attendees throughout engaging breakout sessions and a lively happy hour helped strengthen KJA’s commitment to long-lasting partnerships, especially with fellow Black women entrepreneurs.
Why Events Like This Matter for KJA
Being part of a conference that prioritizes relationship-building, career growth, and inclusion aligns perfectly with how KJA serves small businesses and Black women in business. The event reaffirmed KJA’s belief that genuine success comes from showing up, sharing expertise, and forging bonds in supportive, diverse environments.
KJA highly recommends the Women Spanning the Globe Conference to anyone seeking fresh inspiration and transformative connections. It was truly “about time” for KJA to stand alongside such remarkable women driving global impact.
