Navigating Change Together at the 14th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference
March 2026
K. Jennings & Associates was honored to attend the 14th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference, “Navigating an Ever-Changing World: Your 1% Towards Resilience and Sustainable Change,” held on March 20, 2026 at the new Bloomberg Center in DC. Kiisha Jennings represented KJA alongside collaborator and partner, Becky Strohl of Alpha Moose, for a full day dedicated to women’s leadership, resilience, and sustainable change.
A Day Focused on Resilience and Sustainable Change
Hosted by the Women of Hopkins and the broader Johns Hopkins alumni community, the conference brought together alumni, students, and friends for interactive workshops and dynamic discussions centered on professional and personal growth. The theme of taking “your 1%” toward resilience and sustainable change encouraged attendees to consider the practical, incremental actions that create meaningful impact over time—individually, organizationally, and in community.
For Kiisha and Becky, this framing resonated deeply with how both KJA and Alpha Moose approach client work: strategic, relationship-driven, and focused on building systems and habits that last. The sessions reinforced the idea that leadership is as much about how we adapt and care for ourselves as it is about how we show up for teams, clients, and communities.
Showing Up for Women in Leadership
Throughout the day, attendees engaged in conversations on navigating change, leading through uncertainty, and building networks that sustain women at every stage of their careers. As two women business leaders serving other organizations and entrepreneurs, Kiisha and Becky used this time to:
Reflect on how they support clients through change and transition.
Connect with other women leaders across industries and sectors.
Explore new ideas for integrating resilience-building practices into their advisory and consulting work.
For KJA, being in spaces like this is essential. It’s not just about professional development; it’s about staying grounded in community, learning from other women’s stories, and carrying those insights back to the small businesses, Black women–owned firms, and mission-driven organizations we serve.
Partnership in Practice: KJA and Alpha Moose
Attending together also reflects the way KJA and Alpha Moose partner in practice. Both firms are committed to helping organizations navigate complexity with clarity and humanity.
As K. Jennings & Associates continues to grow its impact, participating in convenings like the Women’s Leadership Conference remains a priority. These are the rooms where ideas are tested, where new relationships are formed, and where the next chapter of women’s leadership is actively being written—one “1%” step at a time.
