HoCo Chamber 12th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference
April 2026
The recent HoCo Chamber 12th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference was an energizing, full-day experience dedicated to building confidence, deepening connection, and championing authentic leadership for women across the region. For a woman-owned consulting practice serving small businesses, showing up in spaces like this is about more than networking—it is about being visible, accessible, and genuinely present for women who are leading, building, and growing.
Inside the 12th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference
Hosted by the Howard County Chamber at Maryland Live! Event Center, the 2026 Women’s Leadership Conference brought together women from across industries and career stages for a full day of learning and inspiration. Attendees engaged in dynamic sessions, interactive workshops, and curated networking designed to support women at every stage of their leadership journey—from emerging leaders to seasoned executives.
Throughout the day, the programming centered on three pillars:
building the confidence to own your voice,
embracing the curiosity to keep evolving, and
nurturing the connections that sustain impact in both business and community.
That environment created the perfect backdrop not only to share expertise, but also to listen closely to what women leaders in the region are experiencing in real time.
How We Showed Up
Participation in the conference focused on being an engaged business partner and resource for women who are scaling their impact.
The most meaningful moments happened in the in-between spaces—hallway conversations, table discussions, and informal introductions where women spoke candidly about what’s working, where they feel stuck, and what kind of support they wish they’d had earlier. These insights will continue to shape how services are delivered to founders who want a strategic partner rather than just another vendor.
