DC Chamber Member Appreciation / Congressional Caucus Kick-Off
September 2025
K. Jennings & Associates (KJA) proudly attended the Member Appreciation / Congressional Caucus Kick-Off, co-hosted with AAREP-DC, on September 24, 2025. This evening brought together the District’s small business leaders, legacy partners, and changemakers for community impact and economic advancement.
This vibrant networking event, held during Congressional Black Caucus week, connected KJA with key stakeholders committed to the growth of Black business within DC’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, fostering powerful conversations around access, ownership, and lasting partnership.
Among the evening’s highlights was engaging with iconic figures like Ms. Virginia Ali, founder of Ben’s Chili Bowl and a living testament to the endurance and power of Black entrepreneurship in Washington, DC. Ms. Ali’s continued presence and partnership within the business community remains a source of inspiration, underscoring the event’s message of supporting generational wealth and legacy entrepreneurship.
By participating in this event, KJA reinforced its long-standing commitment to not only advancing economic opportunity for Black women and small businesses, but also building and sustaining relationships that lead to resilient, thriving communities. KJA remains dedicated to fostering growth partnerships and amplifying voices and legacies that have paved—and continue to pave—the way for lasting progress in the nation’s capital.
