DC Advocacy Day with the DC Chamber of Commerce

High Impact Partners Joins DC Chamber for Advocacy Day

June 2025

This June, KJA represented client High Impact Partners (HIP) at the DC Chamber of Commerce for DC Advocacy Day 2025 at the John A. Wilson Building. With DC’s economic future at a critical crossroads, HIP stood alongside business leaders from across the city to make one message clear: Washington, DC must remain competitive, pro-growth, and open for business.

Throughout the day, KJA and fellow members of the business community engaged directly with city leaders, underscoring the need to reject new taxes, reduce business costs, and streamline regulations that limit economic opportunity. We are grateful to Chairman Mendelson and Councilmembers McDuffie, Bonds, White, Henderson, Nadeau, Pinto, Frumin, Lewis George, Parker, Allen, and Felder, along with their staff, for listening to the concerns of DC businesses and families.

As many residents and employers weigh the decision to remain in the District or relocate to more affordable communities, HIP amplified the urgent call to protect jobs, strengthen local business, and support policies that fuel long-term economic growth for DC.

Looking forward, KJA and HIP are especially committed to advancing transformational projects that can benefit both businesses and neighborhoods. One key opportunity lies in the redevelopment of the RFK site, a project with the potential to reshape DC’s economic landscape. Now is the time for businesses and residents to make their voices heard. We encourage community members to sign up and testify in support of this redevelopment effort so that local needs remain at the forefront of decision-making.

With DC at a pivotal moment, HIP is proud to advocate for a strong, sustainable business environment that supports growth, equity, and lasting opportunity.
