The State of Baltimore Business Summit

June 2026

The State of Baltimore Business Summit in June 2026 showcased the collaborative, forward-looking energy driving Baltimore’s small business economy, and K. Jennings & Associates (KJA) was proud to be in the room helping connect those dots.

Setting the Stage at Camden Yards

On Friday, June 5, 2026, more than 150 attendees gathered inside Oriole Park at Camden Yards for the State of Baltimore Business Summit, hosted by the Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce. This sold-out forum brought together local and state officials, small business owners, corporate leaders, financial institutions, and young entrepreneurs for a morning of dialogue on the future of Baltimore’s business landscape. The unique setting at Camden Yards underscored the event’s core message: Baltimore’s business community is not only open for business, it is ready to grow.

A Premier Legislative and Business Forum

The State of Baltimore Business Summit is designed as a premier legislative and business forum, intentionally built to bridge the gap between policymakers and the small business community. Throughout the program, attendees were invited to connect, learn, and advocate—gaining a clearer understanding of how current legislation and policy decisions impact everyday operations, neighborhood stability, and long-term growth. With a focus on economic development, innovation, and inclusion, the summit encouraged participants to share their voices and help shape the priorities that will guide Baltimore’s next chapter.

KJA and Partners Show Up for Baltimore

Earlier this month, Alpha Moose joined forces with K. Jennings & Associates, 24K DESIGNZ, LivvCreative, and Stursi at Camden Yards to participate in the summit. Together, these partners represented a cross-section of minority-owned and community-minded firms committed to empowering Baltimore City and surrounding communities through strategic consulting, design, technology, and storytelling. For KJA, showing up at events like this is part of a broader commitment to long-term relationships: we don’t just advise from the sidelines, we stand alongside our clients and partners in the rooms where decisions are made.

Inside the Program: Panels and Q&A

The summit agenda was structured around a series of focused panel discussions and interactive conversations with legislators and community advocates. Featured panel topics included:

  • State of Legislation – exploring current bills and regulatory trends affecting Baltimore’s small businesses and entrepreneurs.

  • State of Neighborhoods – highlighting the intersection of commerce, community development, and neighborhood-level investment.

  • State of Tech – spotlighting the region’s growing tech ecosystem and the opportunities it creates for startups and existing firms.

  • State of Eds & Meds – examining the role of educational institutions and medical systems as anchors for innovation and employment.

  • State of the City – offering a broader macro view of Baltimore’s economic trajectory, challenges, and points of momentum.

In addition to the panels, a live Q&A with community advocates gave attendees the chance to ask direct questions, surface concerns, and offer feedback from the front lines of Baltimore business.

Networking, Community, and Chamber Insights

Beyond the formal sessions, the summit delivered robust networking opportunities for attendees to build connections across industries and sectors. Business owners, policymakers, and institutional leaders mingled in the Truist Club at Camden Yards, exchanging ideas, resources, and potential collaborations that will extend well beyond the event itself. The Baltimore City Chamber of Commerce also shared exclusive chamber news and updates, ensuring members and guests left with clear next steps for engaging in future programming and advocacy efforts.

Sponsors Fueling Baltimore’s Business Future

The summit was made possible through sponsorship and support from the Baltimore Orioles, the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), Southwest Airlines, Kimberly Services LLC, and additional partners. Their investment underscores a shared belief that public–private collaboration is essential to building a stronger, more resilient local economy. From venue support to program funding, these sponsors helped create an environment where Baltimore’s business leaders could focus on what matters most: the policies, partnerships, and strategies that will move the city forward.
