Exciting changes coming to DC at the Capital One Arena! 🛠️🚧

The Charles Mann Enterprises (CME) leadership team, including Charles Mann himself and Consultant Kiisha Jennings, recently attended the Capital One Arena Vendor Trade Day! CME has been supporting the Capital One Arena in a Technical Services Contract since 2024 that includes project management services.

KJA joined CME for this great networking event to learn more about the project, form critical connections with relevant parties, and build a relationship with CME's partner, Clark Construction. This was a great chance for KJA to support CME's next development steps.

This trade contractor outreach event served to expand the vendor partnership network for the Capital One Arena, while showcasing future construction bidding opportunities. CME joined DC-based businesses and Certified Business Enterprises (CBEs), who were encouraged to attend. The event was hosted by Clark Construction Group, the Department of Employment Services, and the DC Department of Small and Local Business Development.

As a CBE since 2017, CME plans to scale with the subsequent phases of the project, which will include janitorial services, electrical, hauling, and security services. CME is aligned with and proud to support the goals of the city of DC in workforce development within the city and financial sustainability for DC families.
